hand-crafted grooves lining the long barrel
of the first detached war machine.

nature did not make
silencers and suppressors, nor the
firearm attachments of the same name
easily screwed onto the phallacies of this day.
remember:
nature made homeostasis
named glaciers, tsunamis, rising oceans
and lions who eat poachers alive.
